The NFL is planning to block live streams of the Super Bowl inside MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Both and Fox Sports will be streaming the game, but both sources will be blocked on networks inside the stadium. Last year, streaming was initially allowed but ultimately blocked once it started taking up too much bandwidth; this year the NFL is planning ahead. The plan inside the stadium is to prioritize upload speeds over download, thus allowing fans to post to social media sites.
