First come reports of government spying, then the government shutdown, and now hackers have hit the NSA. The NSA website has been unavailable globally since late this afternoon. Twitter accounts from people loosely affiliated with Anonymous, a well-known hacker group, suggest that the group is behind the attack. The same Twitter accounts also suggest the DDoS attack was meant as a protest against the NSA.
