Comcast and Twitter announced a new partnership, launching in November, which allows Comcast subscribers to watch and record TV shows that are mentioned in tweets.  When a Twitter user tweets about a certain show, a “See It” button will appear in the tweet, allowing viewers to watch it live on their TV or mobile device or set their DVR to record it. “See It” will only work for Comcast subscribers watching shows on Comcast’s NBC Universal programming arm (ex. NBC, USA, Bravo, E!), although Comcast is looking to expand the program. The partnership marks the next step in trying to find the link between social media conversations and television viewership.
